Meet Olivia

Amidst all of the chaos in the world right now, there are new and exciting things coming to The Pink Gym. One of them being weekly blog post by me, Olivia McIver! Most of you know me, but for those of you who do not, I am Nicki’s daughter; you probably recognize me from the live workouts. I want to use my first post to introduce myself and tell you a little bit about me and what I do.

I graduated from Sheridan High School in 2012 and attended the University of Arkansas for one year with a degree in business. I decided that I just couldn’t live without my boyfriend, so after my fist year, I transferred to the University of Central Arkansas, where he played football and I began my nursing career. In 2013, I became a certified personal trainer and group exercise instructor. I taught High Intensity Interval Training Classes (HIIT) once a week in Conway and again in Sheridan and trained a number of clients on the side while attending school. In June of 2016, I married my high school sweetheart, Bailey McIver. We lived in Conway while we finished our degrees and in May of 2017, I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing and a minor in Nutrition. We moved to East End the same year and I accepted a position as a full-time registered nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, until August of 2018, when I became a full-time mommy to our baby boy Cohen.

Now, I get to focus on my true passion: being a momma and using all of my knowledge to help ladies like you! I absolutely love being in the gym and getting to train some of you one on one and teach classes every week. However, while unforeseen circumstances are keeping us apart, I want to bring the gym to you in as many ways as I can. Through workouts, live videos, meal ideas, and the NEW PinkGymU app, I have so many ways of keeping up with everyone and staying connected.

I am so excited to add “blogger” to my list of qualities and cannot wait to share a new post with you each Wednesday night. I can chat about so many different things, so here is where I need your help. Please comment, message, text me, call me, etc. and let me in on some topics that would interest you. I love all things exercise, nutrition, fashion, mommy, meal preps; the list could go on and on. I would love to hear opinions and will give shout outs in upcoming blog posts.

I want to make this as fun and as interactive as possible so don’t be shy! I am looking forward to bringing you a new topic next Wednesday evening. Until then, hit me with all of your wants, needs, and ideas!
